Darren Broome has over 21 years experience as a blacksmith. He wanted to be a blacksmith from a very early age. There was never any question in his mind of any other career.

After studying at Holme Lacy college and serving an apprenticeship, Darren started his own business.​

 

​Today Darren produces a wide variety of work for homes, historic buildings, and businesses ranging from purely functional everyday items to highly elaborate decorative pieces.

Darren has won awards for his work, and he has appeared on channel 4s Time Team programme.
